Katarzyna Samojluk (born in 1975, Białystok), the the artist behind CordLineArtI create contemporary, hand-woven artworks made from cotton cord. In my practice, I combine traditional craftsmanship with the language of contemporary design.For me, textile is a very human medium — organic, sensual and timeless. My work comes from a desire to return to what is natural, authentic and connected to our senses.I’m particularly interested in the relationship between structure, light and space. I build my compositions through rhythm, texture and subtle tensions that emerge between the different elements of the material.I have presented my work in a solo exhibition, “FiberForms,” at Żywa Galeria in Warsaw in 2025, as well as in group exhibitions in Poland, Germany and South Korea. I also collaborate with leading Polish auction houses, including DESA Unicum and the Sopot Auction House.
